An exhibition dedicated to the history of the creation of the most mystical book of the Bible — the Apocalypse, or the Revelation of John the Theologian — and the interpretation of its plots in the fine arts of past centuries and modern mass culture.
Among the exhibits are the pearls of the museum collection: a series of heliogravures by Gustave Doré (1832-1883) depicting the prophets Daniel, Isaiah, Ezekiel, unique copies of the Martin Luther Bible of the 1650-1690s. richly illustrated with numerous biblical engravings.
